High School Summer School & Credit Recovery Program

K-5 CARE Summer Camp

Middle School Summer Program

This summer, NCSD is offering a Summer Middle School Program designed to build community, address unfinished student learning, provide students with strategies to be successful in middle school, and engage students in fun, hands-on activities that support their academic and social growth over the summer. All activities will be led by NCSD teachers, staff, and community partners.

WHERE:  Rowe Middle School

DATES:  Session A: July 8th-18th.    Session B: July 22nd-August 1st  (only register for ONE session)

DAYS:  Monday-Thursday

TIME: 9:30am-2:30pm 

WHAT:  The mornings will consist of lessons in Literacy, Math, Critical Thinking Skills and Middle School Success strategies. The afternoons will be student-chosen, interest based enrichment activities such as Sports & Fitness, Music, Theater, Art, Hands-On STEM, Gaming, Cultural Exchange, etc. (Students must attend all day to participate.)
 

TRANSPORTATION:  NCSD bus transportation provided from your neighborhood Elementary schools

MEALS:  Breakfast and lunch will be provided daily

 

All programs are free of charge and are open to students who will be attending an NCSD Middle School in the 2024-2025 school year, including current 5th grade students.
